TREES

FLOWERING

With a wide variety of common flowering trees like Japanese Cherry, Flowering Plum, Crabapple, Hawthorn, Golden Chain, several varieties of Magnolia and Dogwood, we also have some of the lesser known varieties like Seven Son Flower, Sour Wood, Horse Chestnut, Golden Rain tree and more!!

SHADE TREES

During hot weather, there's nothing like sitting underneath a beautiful tree that provides shade. We have trees for shade, full sun, small yards, planting under powerlines, wet mucky clay soil, or sandy dry hot spots. We have many varieties of shade trees with brilliant fall color: Red Maple, Vine Maple, Oak, Golden Ginko, and Katsura. We also have White Barked Birch, Purple Leafed Beech, graceful Weeping Willows, and many more.

JAPANESE MAPLE

Add an artistic touch to any garden by incorporating the grace of a Japanese Maple. There are many kinds to choose from: some have brilliant red winter bark like the Coral Bark Maple, many have fantastic fall color, and some weep down to the ground like Crimson Queen, Everred, and Waterfall. Some have unusual variegated foliage like Butterfly. Japanese Maples thrive in partly shady and sunny locations.

CONIFERS

We stock a wide variety of conifers year round. These provide all season screening and wind protection. We have many trees to handle the wetter soil like certain types of Cedar, Bald Cypress, and Colorado Spruce. There are many that like the dry sandy soils: Pines, Firs, and true Cedars. We stock giant Sequoias that can grow to 300 feet tall and dwarf Austrian Pines that top out at about 3 feet tall.

FRUIT TREES

We have everything you need from starting a small orchard to replacing the old Rainier Cherry tree from your childhood memory. We carry many varieties you won’t find in the grocery store and they are grown for their disease resistance for this area and for their flavor, not for their ability to handle being picked green and shipped from New Zealand. You’ll find many heirloom, classic, and Northwest developed varieties. The best selection is available in the spring when we get in our bare root trees at which time we will have many different types of Apples, Cherries, Pears, Plums, Nut trees, and Persimmons.
